Don’t get Stumped!
Posted on June 24, 2010 · Leave a CommentI don’t care how long it takes me, once I start a puzzle I want to finish it as soon as I begin it. I hate not finishing puzzles and if I do have to stop, I try to get back to it as soon as possible. Can you solve this puzzle?
Lose the Fat!
Posted on June 23, 2010 · Leave a CommentIt doesn’t matter who you are, at some point you want to get rid of your belly fat. The fat around your belly is “deeply hidden” and it’s thought it can lead to various health problems like Type 2 Diabetes and heart disease. There’s a way to get rid of it, but it’s of course going to take some work.
Of course exercise will help you rid you of your hidden fats, but how much exercise? Hidden fats around your belly are quite hard to get rid of, regular exercise will help but it will do little. Higher amounts of exercise and a more rigorous routine will help you lose that belly fat and quickly.
Experts from WebMD say that jogging abour 20 miles a week can help you lose your hidden belly fat. That’s only 3 miles a day for 7 days or 4 miles for 5 days. The task doesn’t seem too daunting if you spread out the mileage in one week.
Remember that Ansley at Princeton Lakes has a fitness center, don’t forget to use it.

To Buy or To Rent?
Posted on June 17, 2010 · Leave a Comment
That’s the question, do you buy a house or continue with your lease? Of course there are many pros and cons for both ideas but it’s up to you, and the result is leaning towards Renting. People’s mentalities are changing and they are choosing to stay within the apartment industry. And Why not?
- People who roomed with others to save money are now upgrading and living in an apartment on their own.
- People don’t want to worry about the fear of losing their house because of the market.
- No more First-Time-Buyer Tax Credit
- No committment to a 30-year mortgage

Let’s Keep ‘Em Frying!
Posted on June 3, 2010 · Leave a Comment
Living in the South, there’s a wide variety of Southern Food, most of it comfort food. There’s of course fried chicken, biscuits, fried green tomatoes, and fried pickles. Yes I said it, fried pickles. Those sour and crunchie little bites are the best of the South! Here’s a great recipe I found on Food Network!
Beat 1 egg, 3/4 cup milk and a pinch of cayenne. Place 1/4 cup cornstarch in a shallow dish. In another dish, mix 1/2 cup each cornstarch and cornmeal with 2 tablespoons chopped dill, 2 teaspoons paprika, and salt and pepper. Dip about 3 dozen cold pickle slices in the plain cornstarch, then the egg wash, then the cornmeal mixture. Fry in 2 inches of 375 degrees F canola oil until golden, about 3 minutes. Drain on paper towels and serve with ranch dressing.

Let’s get Fresh!!

Baja Fresh has come to Atlanta and it’s so delicious!!! I don’t usually go to Mexican grills but Baja Fresh has become my exception. I really enjoy the quesadillas that Baja Fresh has, the warm tortilla and cheese with the chicken and peppers, yum! I don’t like Pico de Gallo so I request not to have it and they accomodate easily.
Baja Fresh Atlanta has been creating a stir, attending Fiesta Atlanta, catering and delivering to their customers. Baja Fresh is located off of 250 Park Avenue West NW #102 near the Georgia Aquarium. Call 404.681.BAJA (2252) for more information.

It’s Back…

For all you movie lovers, Screen on the Green is back and it’s once again at Piedmont Park! The list of summer movies playing this year are great ones,Transformers and Star Wars are on the list. Tonight National Treasure will be featured. The event starts at 5:00-11:00 with the movie beginning at sunset.
For as long as Screen on the Green has continued, last year was my first year to go. It was such a great experience too, my friends and I came early so we could get good spots. We all brought blankets to sit on and food to eat. I don’t remember the last time I had such a great picnic.
Atlanta is great for events like this and living at Ansley at Princeton Lakes allows for the opportunity to go to all of them. Screen on the Green continues until June 24, five Thursdays in a row. Admission is Free, and having a picnic is encouraged. Which movie will you go see?
